Big Red is the first of it's kind in the world to be able to machine a platen of 112"x112" in ONE set-up per platen side. Big Red is able to do work on large Die Cast and Injection Mold machines. This new machinery design turns what would have been months into only days. With this new design B.O.S. is more precise and with only ONE set-up per side, we save our customers time and money over the old 6 - 8 set-up machines!

"Rail Mill"

Machine capabilities: Hammer base up to 50,000 lbs, Motor stands, Test plates, Solo plates and much more..This rail mill can machine an area the size of 12'x10' in one setup, it also has the ability to machine compound angles. B.O.S. uses a laser for 90% of set -up with this machine! As you can see this is not the usual rail mill you see out there, this is heavy built, all of the machine is cast iron, no fab steel or linear ways, this machine can remove steel at a very fast pace and still hold tolerance that are costumer are looking for.
